Need advice on removal of an apparent drain plug thru the bow hull.

I moved your post to the Trojan boat forum . If I recall its just a pipe plug that screws out . Some remove it while on land , just don't forget to put it back in .

Thanks for reply..Yes on land and I was able to remove male plug that screws into the thru-hull fitting,now the fitting is loose and will need to replace or repair.It has a large thin nut that screws to the outer threads of the fitting on the inside to secure what seems to be a rubber attachment on underneath portion of the fitting outside underneath.Removing the fitting will be tricky since the nut is so thin.I was wondering if this particular type of thru-hull fitting is still available for this boat(1971 Trojan fiberglass hull)and if you have any advice as far as repair/replacement and where to find fitting if available....Thank you very much....James
