New Member Saying Hello!

Post by MagnusTrojan10.8 »

Hi Team,
We joined the forum today. We had our eyes on a Trojan for a long time as the best value for our needs and what the boating industry had to offer.
We just bought our 1989 10.8. She’s got the double birth configuration instead of a lower dinette. We are looking forward to many days this spring, summer, and fall along the Maine Coast. Still on the hard and wrapped, good thing too because it snowed yesterday and will again today and tomorrow! Happy to take suggestions from the community.

Welcome. The people here are amazing. Bob at beacon marine is the most knowledgeable person when it comes to anything Trojan. They are also the site sponsors.

Welcome. My standard advice to the new used-boat owner: treat yourself to a copy of of Nigel Calder's Boatowner's Mechanical and Electrical Handbook.

Lot's of goof folks here. Between the search feature and the active users, the answer to your Trojan boat question lies here.
I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!

Well, that was a typo, but since it is true, I'll just leave it and say that there are lots of good folks here too.....
