Remove the H channel from the top of the windows by sliding it of each pane of glass. Do one pane of glass at a time. The laminate safety glass will come out by just lifting the pane up and letting it fold out to you.

The large triangle window ( all the way forward ) has a screw that keeps it from moving. Remove the screw and it will come out.

1/4 inch Laminated Safety Glass works fine. The orginal glass was 3/16

Here is the link to H Channel and edge channel.

H channel goes on the top and bottom of each pane of glass and on the closing edge. H channel is the wheels for each window pane.

My requirement is not to remove the window per se, but to remove the chrome strip at the front of the windows that slide.
Is it attached possibly by epoxy. If so is there something that can be used to dissolve it.

Welcome to the world of boats. You may well have to remove the window to remove the chrome strip from it. Having said that, you haven't said why you want to remove it? Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, there may be another way to approach the problem.

I really don't like the look. prefer to clean up the overall look. Will have small drilled holes drilled lower front and pulls installed.

Are you talking about the chrome (SS?) strip on the glass that runs top to bottom ? You said slider, then something about drilling some holes and installing pulls ??? So I am confused about what you are really talking about .

Yes. It has the handle / pull used for opening the window. Want to get rid of it. Lookin to create a cleaner view of the boat from the side.

Currently no weather striping. Does not mean there should not be. Intend to add some in future. First thing first. Get rid if the chrome strip top to bottom. As visible in my initial photo.
