International Express Water Tank Capacity

Post by RWS »

My 1983 Express features the built into the hull fresh water tank.

The only problem with this is when you are out on the hook, you never really know how much water remains in the tank, making you and your crew ultra conservative with eater usage.

Taking a holesaw to the tank top to add a float sensor was out, as I'd likely never remove all the fiberglass grindings.

I recently added an actual water meter to my fresh water tank.

I can confirm that on this 1983 International Express Cruiser the fresh water tank capacity is actually 52 gallons.

How does the pulse counter register gallons in the tank?

you don't NEED the pulse counter

It does, however connect to the actual meter, and gets it's data from there

So fill up your fresh water tank, reset the meter to zero, then run her bone dry = 52 gallons

So it is from the same company and designed to work with that meter? That explains it all...
