1976 Trojan 36 Tri fly

Post by Dragonf1y420 »

We just bought a 1976 Trojan 36' Tri fly. It's been sitting a long time. No ppw on this thing to speak of. Can someone tell me where the pump out is for the grey and black water? Found the other tanks! Thanks!

Try port side deck, amidship.
I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!

Its very possible there is no holding tank on a 76 . 1977 was the firstt year boats had to be built with a way to contain waste Many used a Mansfield recirculating head with a build in tank .

" All boats built since 1977 with installed toilets must have an operable approved type MSD. Since1980, all boats (including those built before 1977) with installed toilets must have an operable MSD. Nevertheless, boaters often bypass these systems and discharge untreated sewage directly overboard. If you flush your boat's toilet in violation of the law, you can assume others do too."

Hi Dragon, I have a 1977 Tri Fly and there was a small holding 30Gal tank on it under the floor by the lower helm, starboard side.
The deck fitting was the forward most fitting, then water then 2 fuel fittings.

Come to think of it now, It didn't look factory. It was a different fitting and didn't have the plywood backing plate under it :?
