replacement distributors

looking to replace the old distributors on f30. both motors are 318's is this the direct replacements.

Could not find any info on them . I know there can be issues on the opposite turn engine . do a search on this site

AAA Marine is a great source for HEI distributors...might give them a shout. Of coruse, Bob at Beacon should have the factory units as well...

I bought two Pertronix D241801 distributors for my F32 with Chrysler Marine 318 engines. I've had zero issues with them. These distributors "don't care" if the engine is CW or CCW; as we all know, the distributor turns the same way, and only your wiring will differ.

how did you wire them up?. i got the same distributor and framethrower coil but no wireing instructions

Pertronix clariied any questions I had. It was simple as there are only 2 wires going into distributor. Ignition wire to red wire on distributor black ire to plus side of coil and . Oh crap I do not remember but somewhere is a diagram and protronix will help. They ere excellent there.
