Re: Refitting a 1976 F-32 Journal
Looking forward to spring to work on the F-32 sedan. Engine tune ups on the top of the list. My question is what spark plug wires is everyone using? Right know mine run in between the valve cover and exhaust manifold. It almost seems that I would have to remove the manifolds just to run new wires. I think I've read somewhere that the marine wires are actually longer for just this reason. I have the Chrysler 360 engines.
Next question is how often does the transmission fluid need changed? I only put on about 10-15 hours this past season, if that.
What kind of paint has anyone used on the side decks and for deck? What have you done about the hairline stress cracks before painting?
Has anyone used the zipper doors in their shrink wrap on the boat? Does it hold up all winter?
And a couple pictures to get us thru the winter.

All tucked away for the winter. I wanted to put a zipper door on but I'm not sure where to put it. I bought a 30" x 36" door. Any ideas? And I thought I had a nice size boat. Look at the monster they parked to the right of mine. LOL

Re: Refitting a 1976 F-32 Journal
Thanks for the info Bob, I think I will go that route but split two doors one on the swim platform and then one to access the cockpit. I already bought a small 30 x 36 or I would just get a 30 x 72. So if I buy another 30 x 36 I should be able to keep them a foot or so apart from each other. So I'll just have to unzip the lower one. Get onto the swim platform and unzip the upper one and climb in.

Working on the A/C install. I'm happy to say that the 16,000 BTU Webasto Platinum Series unit is cooling the whole boat superbly. I also did some bilge clean up and painting. Aligned the port engine and shaft as it was rubbing the shaft log tube. Cleaned up the wiring in the engine bay and added my new battery box. Next up is the New Dometic Master Flush Macerator Toilet and holding tank install.

Under the status I get a yellow triangle. But no message, i would do a screen shot but it wont load up.... Its driving me crazy! Maybe I used up the amount of space available for use under one subject? I would like to keep this subject alive as its getting a ton of attention 38K views!!!
