The difference between a express, sedan and the sportfisher in the F series”

Post by BeaconMarineBob »

Let’s use an F-32 as a example:

-- The F-32 "Express" Model 320 had a smaller fly-bridge larger cabin, the engines were shoved back to give more cabin space, taffrail and no patio door.

-- The F-32 Sedan model 321 had a patio door and smaller cock pit, larger salon and a taffrail around the cockpit

-- The F-32 Sport Fish model 322 had the cockpit of an Express, the fly-bridge of of a Express, the drive train of a Sedan, no taffrail, a step-down cockpit 8” and no patio door.

Generally, for other F-boats a Sport Fish had a larger cockpit and no taffrail.

A Convertible was the name used for a boat like a F-36 that had the comforts of a Sedan and the deck (cockpit) for fishing.
