MCCK Generator nameplate location

Post by Scott67 »

Good morning folks, I'm trying to locate a new/used drip pan for my generator for when I pull it out later this month. Looking all over the generator to no avail for a nameplate. Hoping you guys can shed some light on how else to determine the "spec" as there are three difference pans available depending on the spec number.
The hull number is: 340-8053, 1988 10m Intl. Mid-cabin

Thanks in advance for any assist.

I called him just the other day regarding some electrical issues I was having. I feel like I'm being a pain, but I may do so because all my searches have turned up empty. They probably just don't make the pans for these oldies anymore.

If I recall, the spec plates were mounted on the flywheel and belt cover, this seems to be the first thing that goes missing and with it the info plate. I think the serial number is also stamped on the top of the block just behind the base of the lifting ring.

Big D,
Thanks for that info. Yeah, the one on the flywheel cover (if there was one) is gone. The only plate on the cover is regarding oil recommendations for the MCCK Generators. I will look behind the lifting ring today for the numbers.

Thanks again!

No luck on the serial number research. Once I get the genny pulled next week and clean it up on the bench, perhaps I'll be able to locate something. I've decided to just make a pan for it....no luck anywhere for them.
