When you have tried new impeller, thermostat risers, elbows, thru hull clogged, exchanger and still can’t find the reason for the engine overheating check your hoses for a collapsed hose.

Also here is the Crusader cooling test check.

Closed system
10 to 15 degrees higher then water going into exchanger

Using. 5 gal bucket
Water going into exchanger should fill a bucket in 20 sec at 2500 RPMs

Same going out of exchanger.
