well, my weekend is gonna blow chunks...

Post by Tuck »

i have a friend (yes, i have a friend) from canada who's been in the states this last week, and he's going back north saturday.

well, since i didn't get to drive over to the coast to see him, i'm going to meet him along his path home, which will be at a point about 5 hours from chattanooga. nice enough...but...the problem with this is the fact that this will take away a full day of boating activity, AND i have to talk to the wife all day...damnit.

so those of you who are out on your boats this weekend, please have an adult beverage for me as i, along with the wife, drive to wythville, va to see a hoser.

that is all.

i just got one of the judges here at work...

after a small-talk session, i "axed" him if he'd ever blown bubbles when he was a kid. he looked at me, puzzled and said yes, at which time i told him he (bubbles) had been in the lobby looking for him. it took him a second, but he got it and just walked away shaking his head. rofl

judges are so silly.

well, F me to tears. this weekend just keeps getting better, and it's not even here yet. :?

just got off the phone with one of my aunts. her husband, who's been in a nursing home...out of his mind...for the past seven years, finally assumed room temp last night. soooooooo, now i have to figure out how to work all this mess.

would someone like to volunteer to stand in for me at the funeral home tonight/tomorrow? all you have to do is stand around and look mopey.

*disclaimer: this posting is a vent post in order to help me maintain my sanity. if i didn't make light of things, i'd loose my freaking mind. so please, don't think i'm a complete bastard. (i'm only 3/4 bastard.)
