F-36 for $1,000

Post by JuiceClark »

I know it sounds kinda dumb, but there's probably not much more to do on this boat (needs new everything) than there is on many good looking boats.

Won't stay @ $1,002 - 7 bidders, 3 days to go ...

Looks like a lot of work, but it was in (under?) Fresh Water !

Wonder how it got to Stuart, FL?

Like a fine old car, sitting in the junkyard, the cost in both labor and parts to refurbish these boats generally excedes thier replacement value on the market.

It's hard to imagine that old girl once was a glistening, brand new vessel, on delivery day to a happy owner.

She'll unlikely ever return to any of that former glory.

Out in the weather with no care or maintenance, these boats can go down quickly. But then look at how nice some of our vessels still are. (Ever seen pictures of Tony's?)
