Oh no no no... Being originally from Florida, I have issues running raw water through an engine block. Even with our reduced salinity up the bay. I'll take the additional systems and their maintenance over a shortened engine life.

Good the life of a bored out engine w/raw water cooling in salt water can be short. ( been there )

Sorry to let you guys down... when I went to pick up plugs and wires and fluids and filters, the paint was a last minute decision. The engine was Allison beige and was the ugliest damned thing I'd ever seen in my life, and I dredged some ugly things off the bottom of the Sykes Creek growing up on Merritt Island...

The only color they had two cans of in engine paint was...

Ford Red.
