phil and his helper nick gave me a surprise hanukkah gift yesterday by putting in a quick connect/disconnect bypass for the hot water heater. they were going to do lawn care and gutter cleanouts, but were sidelined by the weather. so, without my knowing it, the two of them headed to lowes, bought materials, and fabricated a bypass system. since i was at home all day w/ maccabee, i had no idea what they were up to. when i went to the boat yesterday afternoon, a note was taped to the cabin door telling me to check on the water heater. what a surprise. all i have to do is add antifreeze to the system. i want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for jumping in and giving me ideas for this, and to allen for volunteering to assist me in this project. he is a good guy that was willing to come by my marina and lend a helping hand. i cannot thank him enough for his enthusiasm. i greatly appreciate it.
have a good one gang, and keep dry if you are in this area. it's a nasty morning all around.
