Blue Transom
Can someone tell me if the blue transom on my 1984 10 meter is part of the sticker package or paint. It has a clear coat on it that is starting to bubble and peel off.

It's paint.
When I first got mine in 2001 I seriously considered going all white (mine is maroon with a silver & black accent)
However it grew on me and I came to realize how much that combinatin sets this vessel apart from all those SkiRays and all those other Chevrolets on the water.
When the time came to do the refit I considered changing that maroon out to a nice creamy yellow. Could have been an awesome update. However my fiberglass is actually a very light shade of grey, tha yellow just didn't mix in very well. We repainted the stripes with maroon awlgrip.
Some of the meter series wore a beige tinted hull. Blue & maroon were very popular with the light grey 10 meters.
