That does not "look very nice"! She looks absolutely fabulous. Your instrumnents, engine, bilge, hull... look new. Wow! Paul has some competition for "the nicest F26.

Thx for the compliments... It took me 2 months to get repowered so i had time on my hands to do some cosmetic stuff, still not done tho TV and some little reading lamps on the interior front bulkhead and some rocket launchers for my hardtop coming next. I feel like im playing catch-up with getting on the water, ive logged 70 hours since since Aug 7th the day i got my boat back, mostly ocean hours also. Been going to reefs about 20 miles offshore when the weather been good . Had to take apart my morse shifter because it wasnt staying in gear , the indent was bad so i first thought it was my prop, but after fixing that had my engine at full wot at 5200. The boat was flying in the Port Canaveral chanel right b4 you hit the mouth of the ocean. Shes handling 2-3 feet waves like a pro anything after that a lil bumpy and bouncy.... Spent the night on her at Harbortown Marina in Port Canaveral and that was a challenge being Labor Day weekend. My backing up skills were being tested that weekend and im sure i looked like an a&$hole who didnt know what he was doing. I went slow and banged slow :)) Went with the 14-11 cupped prop with the new HP and so far that seems to fit well. All in all im happy as a lark. Just for the record....... Pauls Trojan is the BOMB!!!!!!

Carl,
Did you build a new engine cover so a taller engine would fit? Looks great.

Yeah, I was a little apprehensive about the engine cover at first , thinking it was going to take away from the look of the helm area but, actually for the small people on my boat they can now stand on that cover and see over the bow while underway. Its about 3 inches taller and didnt mess up the cabin door opening at all. The fiberglass guy who made the cover matched it perfectly with non-skid and all. Hes going to help me make some custom flip up seats for the stern area as soon as i get my arse out of debt for the repowering project. On a lighter note the bride finally stopped looking at me with that side eye that us married guys know too well :D Boat equals money output... and i would do it all again!!!!!!!!!!!!
