Old Trojan employees
Hi everyone I have not been on this site for months ( To busy ) but this morning I was talking to my Matco tool rep and he was showing me pictures of his family skiing this weekend, they were useing a 57 Trojan ski boat. This turned into a whole conversation about boats, trojans mainly, his father has restored two of them a 53 and 57 turns out his father George Urban worked for Trojan for 37 years ( Until they closed ) and has a lot of the factory patterns for the smaller runabouts, specs, and all kinds of info on the factory motors and Trojan stuff in general. I gave his son the Trojan website and hopefully we will here from him ( he is in his 70s ) could be a great source of info.

Would be great to get some original employees to chat with. Can't believe they would not want to follow these boats as they go!
Season is short, we make the best of it.

i bet very few know of this site. but, now that we may have one, maybe more will join. can you imagine the history we could learn from these folks!! and, i'm sure many would be proud that these fine vessels are not only still around, but, many have gone through complete refits and come out nearly brand new. i don't think any of them thought they, the boats, would be around after all these decades. i'm sure the original designers of the f-32 or the 36 sedan or tri cabin, and the vast amount of internationals would be amazed at the attention these fine ladies are getting.Away On Busine$$ wrote:Would be great to get some original employees to chat with.
