Full throttle pics

Post by buoytime »

My father has a 1973 F-36 sport-fisherman, and I've always wanted to see what she looks like at full throttle. Unfortunately, engine troubles and the difficulty of coordinating an outside picture while the boat is in motion have prevented this. I've tried google images, but there are surprisingly few good ones out there. If anybody has pictures of an F-36 sport-fisherman at full throttle--preferably a bow 3/4 or side view--feel free to post them here. Pictures of other Trojans are fine as well.

Not full throttle, but a '79 F32 at maybe 3500 RPM (25 knots give or take).

Now we see that a good portion of the forward hull bottom is out of the water when trimmed correctly as in the last 2 boats, the first is digging in way too much=more throttle or less tab.
Looking at the last 2 pictures the spray would look like being inline with midship cleats when looking from the helm.... which is what I expect when on plane.

Nice shots......

Sorry for that...I was referring to the posts, not any of your multiple photos in the link which all show bow up.
So your pic(s) was one of last two I was referring to.... the one digging in was first boat by kboette1 which seems to be plowing thru' the water.
The key thing to me is that a good running angle on plane should show air space visible under the fwd curve at hull/bow.... which all of yours show. :D

A friend of mine just sent me this of his Hat. What a great idea!!! Cut and paste it and see how cool a drone could be.
