adds to the "livability" factor.

Your cockpit upholstery is awesome, especially considering it is 31 years old!

Cool picture! I don't have the wetbar so its good to see one in case I want to build one.
I have the two long transom seats, but it looks like you have 2 smaller benches along the gunnels as well. Are these stock? Or did you add them?

They are stock. I can seat twelve adults easily.

Nice, I wonder if it was a separate option from the transom seats? I don't have them and I never thought of something like that, but I bet they would be great. Thanks for posting the picture. I may have to make something like that over the winter.

this has to be one of the most versatile cockpit layouts of all time.

entertain tonight

unscrew the aft seats, load up the rods and fish tomorrow.

I have a 30 gallon livewell that pops right in and connects to the existing raw wash down plumbing.

The original owner (18 years) used to run from Miami to Bimini all the time. (60 miles)

On the sunday return trips they would troll for Marlin.

He had a portable freezer (came with the boat but I don't use it much) loaded sown with bait.

The boat has 4 rodholders, a pair of outriggers and one downrigger.

He had a TV antenna on the radar arch and on those Sunday trips he set a color TV on the wetbar.

Pulled in all the ball games from Miami on that TV.

Can you picture that trip?

Take all the gear down, pop the seats back in and everyone heads out for a sunset dinner on your portable gas grill in a rodholder.

damned versitile design.

does the livewell pop into the layette area? I've been looking for a picture of the factory livewell just to see how they did it.

it's not a factory livewell.

its a 30 gallon oval tank that attaches to the cockpit floor just like a cooler does, but with stainless fasteners.

there is a quick disconnect for the incoming raw water, plumbed up from where the factory raw water washdown pump is (was).

I upgraded it to a higher volume pump. (I think it's 750 or 1000gph, can't remember)

At the top of the tank is a strainer/outlet pipe about 2" in diameter which is run directly to the port scupper.

The damned thing works great, is easy to set up, remove and clean up.

Best of all when it's removed, other than the two floor attachments, you'd never know it was there.
