Window repair

Post by rufflivin »

Had both front windows on port/starboard in the salon broken while work done on boat. The sliding glass is one I need to replace. I really have NO idea at all how to get the glass out to take it to a local glass company to recreate so looking for help in the Tidewater area (boat is docked on Pagan River, just off James River). Suggestions?

thanks.

There have been a lot of posts on removing the glass . You may try a search if you don't get a response . As far as getting the glass I would try Goodman's Glass in Hampton .

its super easy, theirs a small flat head screw in the track you remove first, then slide the plastic H chanel strip out and the window will come right out
