I assume that you are disconnecting from the existing inlets. But If you want to have the option to use either the existing or the new, you must put in an expensive rotary switch to choose which pair of inlets you want to use. I did this on my last boat and was very happy with the choice of inlets, depending on the dock I was visiting. I'm about to do it on my new-to-me boat with a Blue Sea System AC Rotary Switch BSS6337. I've seen boats that added a second set of inlets all wired together. Can't imagine the injuries if someone accidentally opened the unused inlets when the other set were pluggin in.
