I read some of his posts and just want to say this: A community is a great place to meet others and exchange ideas. If you don't know, someone else may know, or feel frustrated with something, even in life, you can support one another and learn together. The old saying " I'm everyone I have met." Is one of my favorite. With all the stuff to bring us down in this world its impressive and touching how everyone regarded Aaron. Thats all I wanted to say.

I did not know Aaron but read many of his posts. He had a unique characteristic in that he grew up with a Trojan. I don't think I have ever seen another post from anyone else indicating this.

Part of Aaron's legacy is everything he shared and taught this community about Trojans and boating over the years.

I am wondering if we could join together as a virtual community and pass the hat to make a contribution to one of the charities Aaron supported. Perhaps Bob or Don could add an inventory item to the on line store where anyone could make a contribution and they would send off a check. I was thinking the item could be a dollar and anyone that wanted to contribute could adjust the quantity in the cart to whatever they want to donate.

Rest in Peace Aaron

I had the honor of sharing the title of Trojan Owner of the Year with Aaron a few years ago, Aaron will be missed on this site and in this family of boaters... fair winds and following seas Aaron - your memory will be shared on this forum for years to come

Heads up for those interested....

Just got word from Aaron's dad that a ceremony for Aaron will be had on May 21 at Parkside Marina, just north of Baltimore. My understanding is that it is to include scattering of ashes.

Will update once I get more info.

Got an email that The Enterprise has been spruced-up and will soon be on the market. Details to follow when I have them, or you can maybe check the "for sale" forum here after a while.

sad

hope it goes to someone who cares for it with the enthusiasm and attitude Aaron had.

even if it's 50% of his attitude, it would be awesome !

Too Cheap , But I suspect the family did not want the expense off holding on to it over time . As we all know it adds up . Somebody go a deal . I hope the love the boat as Aaron did .
