dietwrite - your age spread is the same as between my wife and I. Only difference between our situation and ours is, she is the one who was doubtful at first about the Trojan, questioning about this and that. We went up to the indoor boat show at the IX center in Cleveland last January, just because we got free tickets and wanted to get some decorating ideas for the boat. We looked at lots and lots of new eye candy, and at the end, as we left, Dianne said to me that she liked our boat better than anything she saw at the show!!!
All the Maxim owners and Sea Ray owners and Regal owners, and yadda...yadda...yadda at my marina compliment us on what a gret looking boat we have. They especially like the warm, homey look of the wood inside-not like their inside of a pop bottle looking plastic boats. Trojans may be older than a lot of that eye candy out there, but their classis beauty is timeless.
I have to admit, my little zoom-zoom boat is a Sea Ray. That having been said, it's tolerable knowing I live on our Trojan.

We picked the Trojan
