I was an owner operator for almost 30yrs. My experience with big bore diesels was you ALWAYS keep the sca's in the antifreeze. It might be a bit more expensive but you buy the pre-mix with the additives already in it. Any problems its on the manufacturer. BUT I have never heard of anybody having a problem unless they added water to the pre-mix. Just my opinion. I even run it in my 03 Dodge Ram P/U w/ Cummins 5.9
