You worry about brain damage?
Have you thought about where the waves actually hit while standing at the helm?? :shock: I hope you are not planning anymore kids :wink:

The first thing I would do was to put it on a radar arch (wonder why they are called that?) or only run it in bad weather when I am usually below. :(

I'm a bridge man. I don't like the way they look as much, but I love being up there--mine have always been uncovered.
When I bought my F31, my plan was to take the bridge off until I set foot up there underway. I have the lower station for rough seas, but 95% of the time I run from up there

Bridges are OK, and it's a great view especially when docking, but I'll take a hard top any day for charter fishing operations. Climbing up and down from the bridge all day to net fish and reset gear gets old after a while. Not to mention the cost of adding a second station for auto pilot and fish finders etc.

Yeah, that's a whole different story. Mine's all recreational--not a fisherman & can't charter from where I dock. That would be great though, make money running the boat!
