Willie- nice! Can I bring mine down river for you to do mine too! :D

Actually it's just starting to get soft around the front cleats in the middle of the bow. Not as bad as some older ones...yet!

Stripermann2,

If you are getting soft spots around you cleats you might want to remove them and drill out the bolt holes bigger and then pour in some fiberglass resin to seal up your core before it gets to bad.

Hello Wille

Boy I feel your pain when you found the rot
I just had same issue
Ive got a 30" sea raider
and its at the ship yard right now having complete top deck from bow to stern, new cockpit floor, (Bye Bye teak deck)$$$$$ installed including floor stringers
and installing perminate windows in the sides, tired of chasing leaks
and new cabin roof where the front windows at the lower helm meet
pretty much a complete structure rebuild,
I have been rebuilding the fly bridge myself, out of nicce honduran mahogane
most people say I should have bought a new boat
but if your like me I love my sea raider

I pick it up at the end of june, cant wait

Willie, that's a pretty impressive repair! I had a few soft spots on my F-26, and was able to inject some resin through several small holes, about 1/8" (including a small vent hole) Which were about the size of the depressions in the non skid. Tinted the resin with some white, mixed to a putty consistency to fill the small holes, and they're pretty hard to see and my deck is now rock solid. The damage was caused by some of the bedding being incomplete on the deck hardware.
Todd, would love to see some pictures once all of the work is done.
