Y'all have a great time.

Maybe someone can ask what is th erelationship between Beacon Marine (Bob) and Marine Tech (John)?

Also I have a question regarding the 10 meter International.

When they introduced the mid cabin model they changed the construction of the vessel going from a nearly woodless design with full engine room and machinery space liners to a more conventional design.

Why?

Hope everyone enjoys it and has a great time. Please post pictures !

just a cut and paste from an earlier thread from me....

just wanted to say how great it was to see all the fine trojans and meet up with all you fine people on saturday the 22nd. the hurricane held off just long enough for a really nice morning and afternoon. i arrived by car just after 0800 with krispy kreme donuts for wes and his lovley wife peggy and the fine hospitality they extended to me, and paul early in the morning. shortly after 1030 my dad arrived and i would say about a dozen of us met in an informal setting with john from marine tech. i think it was sort of agreed that dad held the record as the longest single owner of a trojan (1972-2008). i have to admit, he really enjoyed sharing his photo album (along with the original sales order) with all you fine people. that meeting with john was really fascinating learing the details from a trojan insider. dad, myself, wes, peggy, paul and his girlfriend janice then went to the crab claw for, what will forever be known as the most enjoyable gathering yet to be seen at the restaurant. after luncheon, peggy and wes were then the most gracious of hosts to dad and i along with paul (prowlerfish) and john from marine tech aboard wes and peggy's vessel, ESCAPADE 3. as the hurricane rain bands made their way to the marina, dad and i departed and had dinner just before the bay bridge where we went our separate ways. dad had so much fun with everyone and he really enjoyed meeting up with everybody. to wes, peggy, paul and janice; your hospitality to him will never be forgotten. i cannot thank you 4 enough. wes, the way you made sure that dad could get on and off your boat was fantastic. as for me i am truly blessed to have all of you as friends. hopefully next year i will be able to return the favor aboard my vessel.

Paul, good to meet everyone and put a face to the name!

Everyone had great looking boats! It was neat to see and get different ideas on what folks do to their boats. Also, great listening to John from Marine Tech. It was nice to have him and his daughter attend.

Paul, we did walk over to Crab Claw and it was packed with a line. So we went up the street to Carpenter Street Saloon and had lunch. Met Bob and Pat there too.
Looking forward to any pictures.
