Welcome. Lots of good info here, either found via the search forum feature, or by asking anew. Pictures always help if you have a particular problem. Congrats on the new boat!
I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!

Welcome to the forum

I used to own a 77 F26 FB, noticed that you are missing the blower cover on the port side. I purchased one from Beacon for mine. Hopefully they have another. I also have a set of hatch bumpers for the engine hatch, if you need new ones I could send them to you.

Welcome aboard! I've had my '78 F-26 since 2000 and think that these boats are great. They do have a few quirky handling characteristics however I'm sure that we can explain how to deal with them as arise.

YA, I saw some articles about handling issues. Any advice would be appreciated. Not new to boating, but is my first single screw.
