What is that on the transom?

It's a Wellcraft Portofino, which looks similar to the 12-13 Meter International.
What is that on the centerline on the transom...some sort of fixed trim tab?

Looks like they may be trying to stretch speed / fuel economy a bit by slightly increasing hull length. But more likely something they have done to reduce chances of stern waves / wake coming up and catching the bottom of the swim platform.

Funny that's what I was going to post until I looked at more photos showing the hull bottom .

The second photo of it, showing it longitudinally, seems to show a handrail on the starboard side indicating that it likely is a gang plank.

Could be something like Trojan put on the F-26 to make the boat think it is longer, so as to diminish the effect of following waves. That is what I have been told about my F-26. It may help some but doesn't solve the problem completely , I know..

Sorry about the sad quality of photo . I believe these are common in Europe . I think I was told what for , But I can't remember , but thinking its for trim .

I should and BTW you new paint looks great out on the water . I know you have not seen it in the water yet but trust me it looks great .
