F36 Prop Shaft Nut Size..

Post by cuppa »

Any one know what Size Nut is on a F36 Prop Shaft.. I am traveling away from home to hopfully pick up an F36 and the Yard wants 200.00 to remove the props prior to shipping..

I think I witll be bringing a breaker bar and socket.. Just want to be sure I bring the correct size...

Thanks

My tool kit for prop removal consists of:
A decent set of pliers for the cotter pin, a plastic zip lock bag (for the pin, nuts and keys) a large adjustable wrench (16" ?), some blocks of wood to wedge between the prop and hull, a prop puller and a propane torch (just in case).
