Crusader Retrofit Flex fuel line (pump to carb)

I purchased one from Beacon to replace a damaged flare fitting where the fuel line connects to the filter on the carb but the traditional fuel filters don’t fit in the new fitting (the blue part in the link above). The new fitting has a slightly smaller inner diameter, is tapered, and reduces the depth/length available for the filter.
Beacon is closed until the end of the month and no one else seems to know about this kit or what filter to use. Google is failing me. Any ideas? Thanks!
