Our fiberglass guy removed all the coring and made the unit solid glass with some carbon fiber roving in it. Crazy solid now.

Nice job !
Did the same on mine.
Removed the teak and replaced with Plasteak.
Installed new GOOD brand windlass
Moved windlass aft about 6-8" so it would dump rode into the deeper part of anchor locker
That mod required making the anchor locker hatch smaller fore/aft.
This was the PERFECT solution.

Scott,
No, I never did a final video but all I did was paint it (roll and tip method). The repairs have held up great.
