recurring problem
the genset is not picking up fuel from the tank
I removed the fuel line and put it in my outboard fuel tank to test, no problem.
I attached a hose to the tank fitting and blew into it and I heard bubbles.
I believe the tank is half full and the problem has to do with the pick up tube.
I reattached the fuel line and the genset ran for a very short while
I just got back from a trip where it worked flawlessly for 4 days.
If this remains a mystery I plan on running the fuel line from the Racor that feeds the
starboard engine
any thoughts?

Re: 89 mid cabin generator fuel pick up tube
I have seen the tubs get holes in them, even a pinhole can cause them to suck air. I do not recommend sharing a pick-up. Some tubes are part of the tank, But you can always put a new pickup w/tube inside them.
