Onan 6.5 runs only when start switch is depressed

Onan 6.5 runs only when start switch is depressed

When the Onan 6.5 MCCK will only run when the start switch is depressed the problem is a bad rectifier bridge or main fix resister.

The Onan 6.5 only uses its battery when in start mode.
When the Onan 6.5 starts it generates its own voltage.

Here are pictures of the two parts mentioned.

NOTE: NEVER ATTACH ANYTHING TO THE ONAN BATTERY. DISCONNECT THE POSITIVE LEAD FROM ONAN BATTERY IF YOU NEED TO CHARGE IT.
