[img]Hi all, this is my first post.

I have a 1976 Trojan F-28 and love it.

The only thing I would change is the cockpit wall/doorway exterior is all wood ( instead of sliding glass doors) The wood has been veneered and looks bad.

My question

Should I try to veneer with 1/4 inch plywood?? would it last?

OR I has seen many of these boats "whited" out with white plastic sheets?
has anyone done this. What product did you use?

Hope this makes sense...tried to attach picture to help explain but do not know how to.

Thanks in advance

You can sand down to next layer and seal it. On my web site have pictures of redoing it. I used a belt sander and a corner sander.
I really like the look of the finished wood.
