HELP!!! while cleaning my salon windows of my 1976 f-32, i noticed that one window (port fwd slider) was moving side to side in the track. upon further investigation, i noticed that the back of the window is missing an 18 inch white plastic 'H' frame. this frame protects the actual glass, but also engages the back of the window into the metal frame to keep it from moving. is there anyone out there that can assist in locating about 4 feet of this plastic framing? i am sure this has been missing for some time, but would like to secure the window to make it a little more rain/snow proof. any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Aaron, this topic has been discussed many times.

From what I learned, no one really has the plastic "H" channels for these windows any longer. John at Marine Tech told me the expense in obtaining the lot of this channel prohibits buying them. He could not say for sure if there were getting anymore. Beacon may have them but don't know for sure. Perhaps someone else here knows?

I did research a few years ago and purchase 10 feet of identical channel, but in aluminum. The closet replica I could find. I still have them in storage and have not used them as I found my missing channels a short time later, on the boat in a slider cabinet.

Be interesting to see if someone has come across them elsewhere.
