Open Trojanboats.net move it to the side . Then open your photo site
so you can have both sites open. Easier to do that way.

1. Sign in to photobucket or your photo site.
2. Chose the picture you want.
3. Resize it to a small size. You do not want a very big size because
it will interfer with the page layout.
4. Below picture use the http heading. Click on it and copy it.

5. At this site. Trojanboats.net Click on your profile at the top of
of the page.
6. Go down to avatar. left click in the window there to select it.
Right click and select paste with a left click
7. Put in the verification code.
8. Click on Submit.

By the way....I hope I didn't step on your toes saying what I did about the 671's in the add JuiceClark posted. The best engines I ever owned were the ones in the boat at the time.

Danny, No sir you did not step on my toes. I have heard some stories about the 671 leaking oil like a seive. I can really believe that. I think it takes regular maintenace to keep that from happening. We did have ours taken all the way down and completely redone. I think that might have a lot to do in the way they run. I still say they are old engines that run good but surely by now with all the new technology there is something more fuel efficent and maybe with more power.
671's are heavy engines and that alone will cost more to move them in fuel. But to offset that you get a better ride and less rock. When it comes to hull design for riding and drifting I do not know which one is the best. I think all boats rock, just some more than others. Hull design is something for a engineer to play with. Just need a open minded one that will try lots of models to get the best and that is costly.

My father-in-law was a shrimper. He ran a 671 in a 49' shrimp trawler for 35 years...same block & head, he would just have it rebuilt every 10 years, new sleeves & cylinder kits, turn the crank, rebuild the blower and keep on towing.

Just goes to show you , boating runs in the family. Same goes for fishing.
