Window replacement has been discussed in several other threads, so I think many of your questions will probably be answered if you do searches ('search for all terms') for 'salon window' and 'sliding door' and review the threads that are offered up.

since the real elephant in the room is the dreaded H CHANNEL, why can't we pool our resources and have either beacon marine or someone else make a mold and get these things remade? if everyone on here could throw a few bucks into it, i do not see why a plastics company will not do it provided there is a mold to use. doesnt marine tech or beacon have the original mold for this? while metal will probably work, nothing will work better than the original design. we just need to have a company willing to do the work, and the mold to use as design.
just my thoughts. and man, was it good to get home last night after being away from home and the dog for 4 days.

They have been able to get some recently, so profile molds exist.
I'm going to start a new thread with subject H channel and maybe if all who need some post there we can then give them reason to order another batch.

Do they have an email contact?
Their website seems to be under construction with no email presence.

I want to ask them if they have this:

I don't have an e-mail address for them but I do business there once in a while. About a fifty mile drive for me. They are a family business and very friendly and good to deal with.

Im in. I have three nasty sliders and would replace all the channel if its available. Seeing as we are not spending fuel, my boat will be cleaner and shiny this year.
