So do things like this need to be licensed or are the Trojan logos public domain now?

i saw that the company has two designs....one with lancaster, pa, the other with pulaski wisconsin..... is the wisconsin design from when carver took over the trojan name? personally, those of here should ONLY buy the tshirt that says trojan yachts, lancaster, pa since we are purists to say the least. i just placed an order for phil and i.... hey, we have to stay loyal to the original i think. what carver did to the good trojan name is criminal to say the least and therefor, the design with pulaski wisconsin should be boycotted.

Thanks for the find, Paul! I just ordered 2 of the Lancaster, PA, since that is where my tri-cabin was built. I hold no grudges against the Wisconsin location. I'm sure several on this forum have Trojans that were built there.

You're right, Prowlerfish, they are. I consider every Trojan boat owner equal, regardless of where their boat was made. Hey, I understand loyalty to the brand name, even when the manufacturer bolts. As you can tell by my e-mail address, mysaabrocks..., I don't drive Volvos :P ! Although loyal to the Saab brand (10 bought in the last 10 years), GM has been morphing it out of it's native Sweden. The Saab 9-2x is made by Subaru for Saab, hence we in Saab circles call it the Saabaru. I had one, bought new in '05. Gave it to my daughter Jessie & I went back to a Trollhatten, Sweden built '99 9-3. Just bought a 9-7x SUV made in Moraine, OH; the plant GM just shut down last week. We call the 9-7x's Trollblazers (made on the same line as the Chevy Trailblazer). I like the Swedish built platforms better, but I have no say so in management decisions where they will build Saabs. Wanted the SUV so I could pull my trailerable boat, which I couldn't do with the cars. So, I have to live with a compromise. Same story, I'm sure, with those who like the Trojan brand, but have to live with a Trojan-badged boat built by Carver.

I stand corrected. Aaron informs me my boat was made at Trojan's Canada facility, as was his dad's. My broker lied to me-gee, go figure!

Contact Beacon, they likely have copies of your original Invoice and paperwork. Give them your HIN.

Very Nice!

I'll be ordering 2 for me, and 1 (or 2) for my wife!

Just back from a week in Zihuatanejo Mexico. There is actually a 1980ish F32 that has fished out of their port (anchored in harbor) for at least 4 years now. It always makes us feel at home when we see it fishing offshore!

We caught Sailfish, Mahi, Spanish Mackerel and Cocinero (no Tuna). We at the best Civeche that I have ever tested - made fresh from Mahi on the boat 15 minutes after we caught it. Raw Mahi, Onions, Tomatoes, Peppers and Salt and chopped and drizzled with fresh squeezed lime juice - awesome!

We always fish on Captain Miguel Valle's 26' Super Panga, the Princess Iris, and have a great time!
