Does anyone know if a hot water heater was standard on the 1984 10M and where it was located?

Don't know about it being standard equipment, however it's been in every 10 meter I've seen.

Just replaced my Raritan in 2005 at age 22.

I can't imagine Trojan not putting a hot water heater in as standard equiptment. You have a shower on the boat, don't you? Who would build a boat , put a shower in it, and not put a hot water heater in to heat the water your going to need with the shower?

Thanks to everyone for the replies. I agree it would be strange not to have one but this boat is in escrow and the equipment list does not show a HWH, and I only had 5 minutes in the engine room before having to fly back to my house in Mexico. The boat is in San Diego!

I think the broker just failed to list the HWH.

I would think it'd be standard too.

And it's a water heater, not a hot water heater. Why would you want to heat up water that's already hot?

My 44' has a HW heater in the basement. i have often thought about replacing it with a few electric ones for space and dependability reasons. My HW heater only works when the generator is on or docked so it would be easy enough to convert and the weight and space difference would be nice.
