Well thanks again for the warm welcome. I can't figure out how to post photos in this forum so what I can do is link the web site with them all.

It has my old 26 on it (Summer Squall) and my 32 (Summer Storm) I think there is around 600 photos, sorry about that but at least they are in folders so anyone can go to a area of interest without clicking from the start

By the way how do you put a photo in a post?

Boat looks great! but I wanted to ask if there was any core deck issues that
you had to take care of before painting?

I would like to ask what brand of paint did you use and if you primered it first?

The F26 you did not buy looks just like my F25 inside and out, except mine looks a lot better! I kept the pic's as anything I can get about my boat helps me with any ideas.

Your F26 looks a great deal like mine also.

Wow What a difference 6 feet makes. Your new boat is beautiful and spacious.

Don't ignore that 13' beam.... space gained by beam is worth 2 or 3 foot of length!

Very nice. Interesting how you painted it on the water, in the slip. Neat!

I bought the boat in Myrtle beach, then moved it up to Norfolk, VA and kept it at waterside marina for about six months. Then we (me,my wife, and 6 month old son) cruised up to Point Pleasent NJ. Stored it there for 2 years (job transfer) then trucked it down to Lauderdale, the yard cut all the wires to the bridge instead of disconecting the plugs, and trashed the inside. After getting it in Lauderdale I decided to do the boat over and try to bring it back to factory spec. The paint I believe is two coats of snow white allcraft awlgrip with two coats of primer. Yes the fore deck had balsa core problems with two soft spots (one in the deck and one on the trunk cabin top. These were opened up and filled with west system then fiberglassed. Becon made the new engine room vents and the yard down here made molds of the fiberglass cowlings from my broken ones and popped out new ones. I too was surprised that they painted it in the water but that is very common down here. once the bridge is finished I will tackle the interior.
