The same (oe very similar) boat, located inthe Keys was listed on e-bay several times.

These 20+ year old boats are a tough sale.

Great opportunity for a knowledgable buyer, assuming he has the funds however there are few buyers and numerous sellers.

Who is going to finance a 20+ year old boat today?

There are many boat lenders that will at better rate then going to the bank or C.U. The one I used got me under 6% the best the C.U. would do was over 12% on a used boat ( maybe more) the banks were way up there on used boat loans . Funny thing was when I closed on the loan . the loan was with a local bank at a rate less then half of what the bank offered direct. These boat lenders are really loan brokers and they know how shop the loan . Yes things have gotten tight but I can tell to you you still can as I have looked at some 40' plus boats all over 20 years old and I have been pre approved at a good rate
