funny how our fearless leader says there isn't any inflation but i get my energy bill today and the price per kilowatt hour has gone up 7.5%, food prices have risen about the same too. huh. wonder what real inflation is in his book?

"I'd rather be a really good one-term president than a mediocre two-term president"
What a statement to spew from the big zero. And he wants the nation to tune into more of his crap?
...I'll be watching Lassie re-runs.

I generally don't listen to anyone trying to blow smoke up my rear, so no,,,I won't be watching.
He said he was going to cut medicare by 500 million dollars, and do it by cutting waste. to help pay for the new health care plan.
Well now that most likely we won't have a health care bill, he hasn't said anything about still cutting that waste. I guess he doesn't care about saving the tax payer that money anymore?
That's proof enough for me, that he was lying through his teeth to us. Now all of a sudden he has seen the light,,,,,,,how hollow and petty can he get!
In just one year, he has passed Carter being the worst president in my life time.
If we ever have another terrorist attack, and I think there's one coming,, that will end his presidency.

you guys are such cynics. [that is not supposed to be a personal attack

]. Here we have a guy who genuinely is trying to do the right thing, and you don't want to give him credit. Certainly were going to get a health-care bill [put together by the House and Senate, not the president]. The only difference is the Democrats have lost their super majority. They are still the majority in the Senate. It sounds like you're listening to the hate mongers on talk radio, rather than somebody trying to relay the actual facts.
President Bush was a freaken idiot, and if it weren't for president Osama we'd be in much worse shape than we are now.
Life is good, everybody love each other, I want to live in a commune. [With some naked midgets]
PS not going to watch the address, Cavs playing

here's some things that's wrong with his heath care system
OUR GOVT. has NO right to tell US that we have to buy it or face fines from the IRS and then if we don't pay it go to jail. Read the bill !
And there are things that do need changed, insurance should not be able to drop u if you get sick, say no if your Doc says you need a treatment (if it's in your plan) be able to buy insurance from any state one wants to. there's all kind of things that can be done. all the righty's are saying is lets try them first before we hand this power over to the Fed. look at what happened last time they reformed it we got HMO's the really saved money didn't it.
a wise man once said, any thing you subsidize you'll get more of.
and the next time I hear the rest of the world has it I'll puke ! WE THE PEOPLE are not the rest of the world.

Where in the Contitution does it say that the Government has the right to tell "We The People" what we have to purchase, and that if we don't we will be fined?
I spent twenty years of my life sworn to defend the Constitution and will continue to do so until the day I die.
I learned a long time ago that if you want to effect change in any organization, you must start at the top. I have seen many Company Commanders and Senior Non-commission officers in the Army relived of there command due to piss poor performance. I say its time "We the People" take action and start at the top.
