Snow Panic Started

Oh No the panic has started!!!
The National Weather Service has posted a Winter Storm Warning for the Baltimore area. People are already starting to PANIC. I was at a Lowes store earlier and folks were snatching up anything that looked like a shovel (I don't understand this cause we have had 35 inches already this year). I have to stop at the grocery store on my way home from work for a few things, thankfully milk bread and toilet paper are not on the list my wife gave to me.
I just hope I make it through the checkout without having bodily harm done to me.
Pray for me.

Hopefully you won't need to pick-up any "blue" boxes either...

Hang in there Hank ..... we have a snow hotline here where I work. We have people calling looking for an update to the storm that hasn't arrived yet. You gotta love it!

Wil..you know how the local populace is with the "S" word. I just got home, the grocery store was packed.
I am going to work from home tomorrow. Friday traffic is bad enough without the snow.

Not a wimp...just know how the people in and around Baltimore are...hell they cannot even drive in rain.
I have driven all over the world and have never seen anything like it is around here in rain or snow. A couple of years ago I was driving home from work in a snow storm and watched a guy pull his car to the shoulder of the DC beltway and walk away from it.
Working from home in weather like this is my version of Defensive Driving.

Hank ... Baltimore's gotta be one of the worse cities for handling any kind of weather conditions. I just completed a quick driver safety meeting this morning and everyone of them couldn't wait to get out of here and beat the snow....not because they're worried about driving in snow....it's being out there with the others they have to deal with in this area.

Wil..I know. My commute is from Harford Road down I-95 to Annapolis Junction and Elkridge. Being from Jersey (originally) I tend to yell at people who rush to get to jobs they probably hate, while endangering others.
My wife finds it quite entertaing.
