Want to thank you guy`s for your input. I`m not new to the water but I am really freaked out about the purchase of a boat of this size and the cost that goes with a family pet of this magnitude. Dreamed for many years, saved a little money after 2 trips to the mid-east, gave it much thought over the past couple of years, decided to go for it...and now Im questioning it all.
Anyway...Does anyone know off the top of thier heads what the height from keel to the top of the windscreen on the flybridge is as well as the dry weight of an 1978 F-36 Sedan? These are not listed in my survey and the trucking companies need to know.
Thanks, Rick
Thanks for your input. F-36 Transport Virginia to Alabama

The height your looking for is "Draft Plus Bridge". According to Yacht world the draft is 2' 11" and bridge is 13' looks like 16 feet in round numbers. Displacement looks like 16000 pounds , once again based off of yacht world specs. of boats like yours for sale. I hopes this helps. Good luck with your new ride.

You are gonna love it. Don't let anything intimidate you. Also, to maximize the amount of time (your wife allows you) on the water, I have found it really helps to make boating for her as effortless as possible, including you doing all the cleaning, cooking, maintenance etc. That way it doesn't become a chore or a hassle for her and she is game to go out anytime. Works for me. And if that isn't good enuff , I just smack her around some !!!

One word of caution during your transport. Please don't use a broker to find and co-ordinate a hauler for you. Go with a reputable hauler. If you would like a company and some info, let me know.
Otherwise, good luck and we'll look forward to your postings as things move along.
