Was up to the boat ( 2 1/2 hrs one way ) was a beautiful day. Sun shining, above freezing, minimal wind. Now this may not mean much to you southern folk , but, up here it does.
Anyhow, was taking measurements and removing the old battery tray and paralleling box. Am putting together a dedicated "house pack".
I always knew the house ran off the starboard batteries, but when I pulled cover off the box I see a second 4 gauge ( I'm guessing ) wire hooked to the port circuit breaker and heading into the conduit on its way to the 12 volt distribution panel above. I did not have time to follow the circuit, so I'm wondering if any one knows what it feeds. Because the port battery never discharges while out on anchor, my guess that the circuit supplies the bridge.
I'm going to have to find out eventually, because this will have to be fit into the circuits properly.
Any help, I'm all ears.
