When this first happened, I was under the impression it was a 49' cabin cruiser? But when I first saw it the other day, I thought the same thing, it looks like a houseboat judging from the looks of the front.

Hey, I do feel better about buying the cabin heater. It has done a great job of keeping the beige warm. I go check on the boat at least every other day. I have a temp gauge laying on top of the engine, and it always reads 40 to 42 degs. I also have a small plastic container of water, and it has never frozen.

I also check the microwave to see if the clock still has the time on it. If not, that would mean the power had gone off. After gaining confidence in the heater, that's the only thing I was sweating,,,,the power going off. That was what the small container of water was for, as long as it stayed liquid, I was pretty sure the water in the block was also.

PS, Not sure how it happened, but the first reply I tried, wound up as a new topic HEATER?
