F36 FOr Sale

I am now a 2 boat owner and my 1984 F36 is for sale. It is fully loaded and is completely turn-key. It looks great and needs nothing. If anyone is interested, I have many pictures I can send. Boat is in East Rockaway NY and I am asking $59k.

Well, I already have an F-36, but can I see some pix anyway. Do you have a site or something where I can see them...always like to get ideas from other boats.

Yeah I renovated the whole thing. There's nothing worse than having a nice boat where, everytime you go somewhere, some little bad connection in a wire ruins a good day on the water. So I figured I'd just take all the old mechanicals out and start over.
The 454s are good. You really have to run them at about 3100+ to get her skipping along on the flat area near the transom. But burning 24 or 25 gph at that speed of about 20mph is no crime. I bought those zero hour big blocks for $5K from a racing team that used them as back-ups. So, with a deal like that I'm happy with 'em.
You have a good point...why rebuild an F-36 when this sucker did all the work for ya!! If anyone is thinkin' about doing a project and you notice I did it to this boat, give me a call so I can help...might as well take advantage of all I learned on this project.

You either have split personalities (mulit-IDs) or are a very poor Salesman.
"mintregila" started this thread saying he was selling an F36, but now "JuiceClark" is chiming in as the owner. Which are you - or did you forget to chnage names to talk to yourself/us?

Sorry for chiming-in on your post!! I mentioned mine for sale on "Love my boat...but it's 4 sale." Then I was reading your post and just started typing -- forgot it wasn't about my F36. I have to stop visiting this site in the evening with a Jack & Coke next to the laptop.
By the way, I think all those F-36s for sale are about the most undervalue boats anywhere. A piece of crap Carver or SeaRay gets about as much $$...ridiculous.

No problem. I agree with your assessment of the market. My Trojan is in great shape and nobody seems interested. I've had it for 5 years and it is a solid boat and much better than contemporary Silvertons, Carvers and SeaRays.
They really are good solid boats.

your boat seems like a great deal but the market is just horrible. I was considering marketting my boat and last fall, I noticed the same boat as mine for sale locally (74 F-32 twin diesel). It was priced right and in decent shape. The price has dropped 10k since then and it's still sitting there. I know the broker and he tells me things are really tough in that segment (nice older convertibles). Nothings moving and even though you get more lookers at the diesels than the gas boats, buyers are scarce.

Damn I just luv that maple interior. What a difference that lighter wood makes...especially in the head area. Now that the cool weathe is coming, maybe it's time for another interior project on my boat!
With all these F-36 in different areas, we should get 3 or 4 guys to go in and keep the boat moving around the "great circle!" Would like to fly anywhere, jump on a Trojan and cruise a 100 or so miles for the weekend and fly home!

I second that, eventually I would like to ship ours south again. Lots of tire kickers around but none with any dough. Most guys are still building dinghies and pretending at yacht clubs; so we will just keep ours and continue upgrades.

If you do you plan to ship your boat south anytime - let me know. I am a licensed Captain, and own an F32. My wife and I are both degreed Mechanical Engineers, and I run my own business and she heads the Mechanical Engineering program at the local University, so we have time and are qualified.
We can take deliver your vessel when/if you desire ...
