I plan to be there, but not by boat. My boat is about 1/2 mile up river on the Sassafras. I will drive or dinghy over. My "next door" neighbor ('91 F32) plans to go over as well.

It's just a two-minute car hop over there for me. Waiting to hear the schedule of happenings.

Paul, just got done reading the email on Al and Anne Coke's tricabin burning up at the marina...shame. They had been restoring her for the past 5 years.

I saw Al and Anne's boat back in March when Wes came down . It was looking real good . look like new canvas was just put on . Not sure where the boat is now , The marina where it was had no place to pull a boat out at.

rendezvous

Post by aaronbocknek »

sadly, i will not be able to attend. i am on call and probably flying over that weekend as it is an end of the month/start of the month transition and that is when us reserve pukes get called out to fill in for the more senior 'line holders' in the airline. oh well, at least i'm employed and in the airline industry no less. was really trying to bid for that weekend off but no such luck. maybe next year, and hopefully, in a tri cabin.

Glad you will be there Butch , we also are coming by car :( , If I had some more time off I may have come by boat . I would think it would be at least a 11-12 hour run getting there and like last year I would want to take a week to get home .

Aaron your boat is less then 2 hours away , Can we borrow it ? I will even try to sell for you no charge 8) please have the tanks full

That way you can say "2010 Trojan rendezvous I was not there but my boat was "

Aaron In Baltimore: Contact me when you start looking for a Tricabin. I'm not ready to sell just now, but who knows about later? Mine is in great shape and has been updated. I'm just the second owner, upper Bay kept since new.

Shame you can't make the rendezvous; I'm looking forward to seeing the other guys there this weekend.

There normally have a good turn out , maybe about 25% of them from this site last year ,all of them great folks and not just boat owners but real boaters that use their boats . I feel out of place by coming by land but its over 200 miles each way , thats a lot to go in a day
