Sorry posted too soon. There are two different carbs for the beast. There are a lot of Onan experts on smokestak.com that may be able to help locate.

Thanks for remembing and asking

I wasn't able to resolve the situation. did have a chance to buy a new carb a few months ago...couldn't bring myself to spending $300++ instead of $20 for a carb kit..... arg. at the moment the gen is just ballast.no cruise this last summer so no biggy.Guess I'll end up putting in a new generator....or at least one built this century...

Call this guy Alex. He works for Cummins-Onan at the main office in Indiana. He seemed very knowledgable about the old mcck's. 1 877 938 6762. He converted my old carb no. of 146-0313 to the updated number of 146-0439. Same way with the overhaul kit numbers. He did have a few NEW carbs in stock for a little over $200. Hope this helps you out.

check in to this on E-Bay I used this info to overhaul mine last yr. the whole kit was $90.00 and has all new jets and needles it was worth every penny. The old Onan still starts on the 2 or 3rd hit.....
